Nuance FX
Flexible bandwidth multispectral microscopy
The Nuance FX multispectral imaging system is tailored to the needs of the majority of fluorescent and brightfield microscopic imaging applications. It utilizes an optimized high-throughput tunable filter which has been matched to the bandwidths of common chromogens and fluorophores. The solid-state tunable filter is electronically switchable for sensitivity or throughput, enabling this Nuance system to be used for either chromogenic or fluorescence-based imaging. The Nuance FX spectral range is 420 to 720nm. If you need an extended range to the near-infrared (NIR), learn more about the Nuance EX.
Nuance software incorporates powerful unmixing and analysis algorithms, as well as easy-to-use tools for building your own spectral libraries. View software clips to learn more about how Nuance captures, unmixes and quantitates. The Nuance system is compatible with Molecular Devices’ MetaMorph™.

Multiplexed imaging of quantum-dot-stained tissue. Breast cancer (FFPE, 20X) stained for estrogen receptor (ER, Qdot 655 nm) and progesterone receptor (PR, Qdot 585 nm). Nuclei counterstained with DAPI, and tissue autofluorescence detected spectrally. Separate planes for each signal are shown, and at the second Nuance composite image displayed in Brightfield Display Mode (BDM).
