inForm™

inForm LogoCRi's inForm™ has been developed to address the biggest challenge facing microscopists once quantitative imagery has been acquired: extracting data. The challenge grows when dealing with multiplexed assays, since signals can be weak and highly mixed. inForm provides a powerful and fast solution with an intuitive, easy-to-use software interface. What might have been impossible or have taken days can now be done in minutes.

CRi multispectral images and industry-standard TIFFs, including TIFFs generated by CRi's new Whole Slide Imaging systems, can be read and analyzed by inForm.

The software is based on machine-learning, which means that you can train the program to create an effective solution by simply drawing around examples of what you want segmented in your images. inForm then creates a solution that you can subsequently apply across the entire image or across as many images as you want. The output can be a wide range of parameters, such as numbers of objects, locations, and the spectrally unmixed signal levels. If the objects are cells, the output can be multi-parameter protein expression per cell, like that produced by modern flow cytometry, with the major advantage being that the morphological context and heterogeneity of the tissue sample are retained.
