Maestro Reagent Kits
Small animal, non-invasive optical imaging is performed with antibodies or proteins labeled with visible and near-infrared (NIR) fluorophores. CRi recommends and has assisted on the development of a number of reagents kits for in vivo fluorescence molecular imaging with the EX and M2 small animal imaging system, including:
- Invitrogen’s Small Animal In Vivo Imaging (SAIVI) kits and reagents have been developed and optimized using the CRi Maestro imaging system. These kits and reagents are designed to label antibodies and proteins with visible and NIR fluorophores.
- AlexaFluor dyes that emit in the NIR are ideal for in vivo imaging to maximize penetration of the excitation and emission light. The Maesto Multispectral Imaging System allows for separation of multilabeling (multiple AlexaFluor dyes) and autofluorescence signals within the small animal model.
- The SAIVI Rapid Antibody Labeling Kits from Invitrogen are optimized for specific requirements to control the degree of labeling (DOL). The SAIVI Rapid Antibody Labeling Kits are ideal for use with the Maestro Multispectral Imaging System and in vivo use.
