Abrio™
The Abrio imaging system enables visualization and quantitative measurement of birefringence in stained and unstained samples. Applications in the life sciences include label-free and quantitative imaging of collagen structures in tissue sections, and spindles and cytoskeletal filaments in living cells. Applications in industrial and materials-research applications include assessment of stress and strain in materials such as glass, plastics, optical fibers, and discs. The Abrio system is an easy add-on to existing microscopes and can be combined with other imaging modes.
The Abrio System is available in two models:
-
Abrio LS (Life Sciences)
The Abrio LS system enables users in the life sciences to visualize architectural dynamics in living cells and tissue, such as spindles and collagen structures.
-
Abrio IM (Industrial Metrology)
The Abrio IM system enables assessment of stress and strain in inorganic materials such as glass, plastics, optical fibers, and discs for industrial and materials-research applications.
