International Sales Manager

Our multidisciplinary team is dedicated to providing comprehensive solutions that extract new disease-specific information from biological and clinical samples, in the physiological, morphological, and biochemical context of intact tissues and organisms. The complexity of disease is captured at multiple levels, from cellular to whole organism, to speed and enhance disease research and drug development and to help realize the potential for personalized medicine.
The successful International Sales Manager candidate will manage CRi’s international distribution network. The candidate will be responsible for all aspects of channel partner acquisition and management.
Responsibilities include:
- Achieving forecasted international revenue goals
- Primary relationship holder for existing and future distribution partners
- Primary advocate for maintaining a heightened awareness and understanding of the underlying value of CRi products with the distribution partners
- Developing and supporting the implementation of tactical sales and marketing campaigns to increase channel revenue
- Identify and negotiate new distribution partnerships
The candidate will be the internal champion for CRi’s international distribution network. As such, the successful candidate must be able to effectively train and communicate a broad range of CRi products. Travel outside the United States will be required to ensure that distribution partners receive the necessary attention to secure their success in selling CRi products. The candidate will coordinate with CRi product and application development teams to ensure that international market needs are addressed. The candidate will also coordinate closely with the CRi marketing team for the effective launch and on going representation of the product(s).
The successful candidate will require strong communication (verbal, written, presentation) and organization skills, who excels at working in a highly dynamic environment. Demonstration of the ability to operate independently with sound judgment is essential. Creative solution finding with discipline to execute on the details is important. High integrity and team spirit are core characteristics of CRi.
This position requires a candidate with at least 4 years of proven, successful experience in the life science instrument industry, specifically associated with imaging instruments; and at least 2 years in international sales or channel management. A bachelor of science degree in a life science or related technical discipline is required, or an MBA with applicable work experience in the life science instrument industry.
This position is based in Woburn, Massachusetts, but will require customer contact and up to 50% worldwide travel.
